Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices to address the emotional challenges and relational dynamics that arise during the rehabilitation process.

• Perform comprehensive assessments to delineate clients' struggles, aspirations, and family relationships, co-creating personalized treatment plans that encompass both therapeutic and rehabilitation milestones.

• Implement systemic therapeutic methods, including family systems theory, to enhance communication, mediate conflicts, and bolster coping strategies among clients and their families.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and medical professionals, to ensure cohesive treatment plans that support positive patient outcomes.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support, particularly during heightened emotional phases of client rehabilitation, to facilitate stability and encourage ongoing progress.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards as outlined by regulatory bodies.

• Educate clients and their families about emotional challenges associated with rehabilitation, providing resources, coping mechanisms, and strategies that fortify family cohesiveness and support systems.

• If applicable, contribute to the development of training materials based on the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy and rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals and families who are navigating challenges related to recovery from mental health disorders, substance use disorders, and other psychosocial issues. You will provide critical support as clients confront complex emotions and relational issues tied to their recovery journeys, fostering an environment of healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois, allowing you to practice effectively within the framework of local regulations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 105,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
