Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to better understand clients’ mental health needs, utilizing standardized tools and clinical judgment to formulate effective treatment plans.

• Provide high-quality individual therapy using diverse modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches, adapting strategies based on client feedback and progress.

• Collaborate with clients to establish meaningful therapeutic goals, continuously monitor their progress, and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes.

• Offer flexible teletherapy options to ensure accessibility for clients, promoting mental health care for those with geographical or personal barriers to traditional in-person sessions.

• Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation to comply with ethical standards and regulatory requirements, documenting treatment activities, client progress, and ongoing outcomes.

• Engage in professional development opportunities, including participating in workshops or webinars, to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role includes working with a diverse client population that encompasses individuals facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma-related issues, and adjustment difficulties. You will play a vital role in helping clients establish coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, and enhance their overall quality of life through tailored therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A valid licensing credential from New York State as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
