Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to support a portfolio of business clients by managing their day-to-day accounting needs. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting clients with QuickBooks Online setup and optimization, and ensuring accounting records are organized throughout the year to support a smooth and efficient tax season.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and an expert in QuickBooks Online , with experience managing accounting for multiple clients simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle bookkeeping process for multiple client accounts.
• Set up and maintain client companies in QuickBooks Online .
• Record and reconcile bank and credit card transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and prepare adjusting journal entries as needed.
• Assist clients with bookkeeping questions and provide exceptional customer service.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with internal team members to ensure clients are prepared for year-end tax work.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records while meeting client deadlines.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper required.
• Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online .
• Experience managing bookkeeping for multiple clients or multiple entities simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Experience working in a public accounting firm or outsourced accounting environment is highly preferred.
• Accounting degree is not required ; equivalent hands-on bookkeeping experience is strongly valued.
