Position Overview

Our client, an established law firm in the Las Vegas area, is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its team. This is a direct-hire opportunity for an attorney with a strong background in personal injury litigation who is prepared to step into an active caseload and contribute immediately.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of hands-on personal injury litigation experience and be comfortable managing cases through all phases of litigation. We are looking for someone who understands the pace and demands of a busy personal injury practice, can work independently, and is ready to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from litigation through resolution.
• Handle cases involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, negligence, and other personal injury claims.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial.
• Develop litigation strategies based on the facts, damages, liability, and overall value of each case.
• Review medical records, treatment histories, expert reports, accident documentation, and other case evidence.
• Work closely with medical providers, experts, investigators, and other outside resources.
• Conduct settlement negotiations and participate in mediations.
• Attend hearings, conferences, and other court proceedings.
• Prepare cases for trial and provide trial support as needed.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding case status, expectations, and next steps.
• Ensure deadlines, court requirements, and internal case-management standards are consistently met.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and other members of the litigation team.

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with the Nevada State Bar.
• Minimum of 2 years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Strong understanding of Nevada personal injury litigation procedures and applicable laws.
• Experience managing cases after they enter litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience handling discovery, depositions, motions, mediations, and court appearances.
• Ability to independently manage deadlines and a demanding caseload.
• Strong client communication and case-management skills.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented law firm environment.
• Must be comfortable working full-time, on-site in the Las Vegas office.

The successful candidate will be confident handling personal injury litigation with limited ramp-up time and will bring a strong sense of urgency, ownership, and professionalism to their caseload. This position is best suited for an attorney who enjoys litigation, understands how to move cases forward efficiently, and is committed to achieving strong outcomes for clients.
