Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Long Beach Counseling Services, you will play a crucial role in providing care to your clients. Your daily responsibilities include:

• Managing a caseload of clients, establishing rapport and maintaining professional boundaries.

• Conducting regular sessions to monitor client progress, addressing ongoing concerns, and planning for discharge when necessary.

• Developing, implementing, and refining person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client's unique situation and goals.

• Completing accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and intake assessments, to uphold compliance and track client outcomes.

• Participating in individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and receive support in your practice.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, psychiatrists, and case managers, to provide holistic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on youth clients, providing support to adolescents facing mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
