Description

• Conduct evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessments and observational techniques.
• Create individualized treatment plans designed to meet both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing needs.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions addressing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families, to devise and implement comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and families, equipping them with tools to support progress beyond clinical sessions.
• Assist with occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, prioritizing continuity of care throughout our patients' journeys.
• Ensure timely and precise documentation adheres to state, federal, and organizational guidelines.
• Remain engaged in the field through continuing education and collaborative peer interactions.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a respected institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first thirty days of employment.
