ProCare Therapy | Kenosha, WI
ProCare Therapy is seeking Paraprofessionals and Behavior Technicians (Para/BTs) for multiple school-based contract opportunities in the Kenosha, Wisconsin area for the 2026–2027 school year. These positions support students with special education and behavioral needs across a variety of classroom settings and grade levels.
We are looking for compassionate and reliable professionals who are passionate about helping students succeed academically, behaviorally, and socially within a supportive educational environment.
Position Details
Full-time opportunity
2026–2027 school year assignments
Openings across elementary, middle, and high school settings
Opportunities may include:
One-on-one student support
Classroom paraprofessional support
Behavioral intervention support
Autism support programs
Special education classroom assistance
Caseloads and student needs may vary depending on assignment
Responsibilities
Provide direct support to students throughout the school day
Assist with classroom instruction and student engagement
Support implementation of behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
Help students with transitions, routines, and classroom participation
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality within the school setting
Support positive behavior strategies and emotional regulation
Promote a safe and structured learning environment
Requirements
Apply for the DPI Certificate
Have 48 hours of college credits or associates degree or apply for an pass the WorkKeys Exam
Must meet applicable Wisconsin paraprofessional qualification requirements
Previous experience working with children or students with disabilities preferred
Special education, behavioral, ABA, or classroom experience preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work effectively under the direction of a licensed teacher
Ability to provide patient, compassionate, and consistent student support
