We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to support civil litigation matters in Chicago, Illinois. This position plays an important role in organizing case materials, coordinating discovery activities, and helping attorneys prepare for hearings, depositions, and trial. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of litigation procedures, excellent document management skills, and confidence working within case management systems.

Responsibilities:
• Manage litigation files from case opening through resolution, maintaining accurate records, deadlines, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate discovery activities by gathering, organizing, reviewing, and tracking documents, responses, and production materials.
• Assist attorneys with trial and hearing preparation by assembling exhibits, preparing binders, and ensuring materials are ready for use.
• Draft, format, and revise legal documents, correspondence, and case-related materials in support of civil litigation matters.
• Monitor court deadlines, deposition schedules, and case milestones to help keep matters on track and compliant.
• Maintain and update information in case management software to ensure files, notes, and status details remain current.
• Support attorneys with factual research and case organization to strengthen litigation strategy and day-to-day matter management.• Experience supporting civil litigation matters in a paralegal capacity.
• Working knowledge of discovery processes, document handling, and litigation procedures.
• Ability to assist with trial preparation, including exhibit organization and case file management.
• Proficiency with case management software and digital document systems.
• Strong organizational skills with careful attention to accuracy and deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with attorneys and legal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
