Title: Payroll Manager Salary: $120,000-$140,000 + Full Benefits (100% employer-paid medical premiums) Location: Greater Boston Area (Fully Onsite) Why This Opportunity Stands Out: * Well-established, privately held organization offering long-term stability * Own the entire payroll function from start to finish in a true hands-on role * Work directly with union payroll, collective bargaining agreements, certified payroll, and compliance * Collaborative finance team with high visibility and autonomy * Outstanding benefits, including 100% employer-paid medical coverage Must Haves: * 5+ years of hands-on, in-house payroll processing experience with full ownership of payroll * Extensive union payroll experience, including collective bargaining agreements, wage classifications, fringes, deductions, and certified payroll * Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, garnishments, overtime, and compliance * Experience with payroll systems, timekeeping platforms, and advanced Excel * Detail-oriented professional who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and enjoys being the payroll subject matter expert Responsibilities: * Process end-to-end payroll for a mixed workforce, including union employees * Administer collective bargaining agreements, certified payroll, wage schedules, fringes, and deductions * Ensure accurate payroll processing, tax filings, reconciliations, year-end reporting, and audits * Partner with Accounting and Finance on reporting, reconciliations, and internal controls * Serve as the primary internal payroll expert and identify opportunities for process improvements #INJUL2026 #LI-MP1
