Respiratory Care Practitioner - Respiratory Therapy - Full Time 12 Hour Night Shift (Union)

Location Glendale, Los Angeles, CA Job Summary Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager and pursuant to physician direction, a Respiratory Therapist will deliver excellent patient care by assessing cardio‑pulmonary status, setting up and operating respiratory care equipment for diagnosis and treatment, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members. Responsibilities Assess patients’ cardio‑pulmonary status and determine appropriate respiratory care interventions. Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Qualifications Education: Minimum Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy; bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: 1–2 years as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute‑care hospital setting preferred. Licenses/Certifications: Valid California Respiratory Care Practitioner License; RRT and CRT licensure required for hires after 11/01/19; NRP, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications from the American Heart Association; Annual AB 508 Certification; must obtain missing credentials within 30 days of hire and maintain renewal. Additional: Willingness to maintain current certifications and comply with department’s annual requirements. Compensation Hourly rate range: $41.92 – $56.41.
