Staff Accountant

Job Summary A growing organization in Clifton Heights, PA is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with hands-on QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Enterprise experience, strong general ledger skills, and exposure to manufacturing, wholesale, or distribution environments. The Staff Accountant will support core accounting operations, month-end close, financial reporting, and inventory accounting. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and month-end close activities. Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Enterprise. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including variance analysis and management reporting. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed. Maintain accurate inventory records, reconcile inventory accounts, analyze costing and valuation, and investigate discrepancies. Partner with operations, warehouse, and purchasing teams to support inventory accuracy, process improvements, and reliable financial reporting.
