Business Development Manager (Technology Sector Group)

We're excited to be partnering with a leading global law firm in the search for a Marketing & Business Development Manager to lead its Technology sector. In this role, you will work closely with global sector leadership, partners, and cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic initiatives that enhance client engagement, strengthen market positioning, and drive growth across one of the firm's most dynamic sectors. This is a highly visible, strategic, and hands-on opportunity where you will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders-connecting activity across practices, geographies, and clients to deliver a coordinated, high-impact approach to business development and marketing We would love to speak with individuals who bring strong business development and marketing experience from a law firm or professional services environment. Prior exposure to the technology sector or working with sector-based go-to-market strategies will be especially valuable. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and execute a global business development and marketing strategy for the Technology sector in alignment with firmwide priorities. Act as a key advisor to sector leadership and serve as the M&BD lead for the global Technology team. Lead and manage a global BD team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development. Oversee pitch strategy and execution, including RFP responses, proposals, and the development of targeting materials and credentials. Plan and deliver integrated marketing campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, and profile-raising activities across multiple channels. Manage client-facing events, webinars, sponsorships, and industry engagement to enhance visibility and drive ROI. Support key client relationships through account management, including monitoring financial performance and conducting client feedback initiatives. Lead on awards submissions, legal directory rankings, and collaboration with PR teams to elevate market profile. Drive internal communication and knowledge sharing across the global sector, ensuring alignment and consistency of messaging and materials. Contribute to broader firmwide M&BD projects and share best practices across teams.
