Office Engineer Document Control Work Location: Los Angeles, CA

Office Engineer – Document Control (Building, Marine, Port) – Los Angeles, CA Experience with maintaining file documentation of Building, Marine, and/or Port Projects. Process, distribute, retrieve, maintain, and archive all project-related records received. Assist in managing electronic and hard copy project and program records/files. Minimum Required Qualifications 5-10 years’ experience with document processing and data management. Document processing experience with Building, Marine, and/or Port Projects. Certification for document control professionals is highly desirable. Previous experience managing a Document Control effort for a large-scale ($25M+) construction project or program required. Experience in a large-scale, billion-dollar public-sector construction program is highly desirable. Effective oral and written communication skills. Must be a proactive, self‑starter, with a results‑oriented focus, and willing and capable of assuming additional responsibilities. Highly organized and detail‑oriented. Must be able to interface with a variety of people with different technical levels and educational backgrounds; must be detail-oriented and highly organized; and must be able to produce accurate and timely results while maintaining a positive customer‑service attitude. Must possess a “can‑do” attitude: able to produce consistently accurate results at a fast pace. Experience with construction management database software, Microsoft Office 365, and Adobe Acrobat. Experience working on building, marine, or port projects. Required Experience The control, scanning, indexing, linking, hardcopy filing, and distribution of documents. Manage the flow of records to project participants, including correspondence, technical submittals, project reports, Requests for Information, and contract plans and specifications. Prepare transmittals, distribute documents, and retrieve documents through the client's software. Must be sensitive to time deadlines, ensure that work is accomplished in the time frames required, and must be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities readily. Assist the Project Manager, the Construction Manager, and the Project Team in all matters related to project records and the control and distribution of documents. Support for project teams in organizing workflows and approvals. Participation in project meetings, as necessary. Prepare and distribute meeting minutes. #J-18808-Ljbffr PMCS Group, Inc.
