Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop insightful treatment plans that address clients' mental health concerns. Deliver tailored individual therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, or other therapeutic strategies conducive to client growth. Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals, closely monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes. Provide teletherapy options to meet the varying needs of clients, ensuring they have access to support regardless of physical location or accessibility challenges. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, treatment progress, and outcomes, adhering to ethical and regulatory standards. Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and seminars to enhance your clinical skills and remain abreast of emerging best practices in the field. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse range of clients experiencing challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. Qualifications Possess a current and valid state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). Hold a Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building trust and rapport with clients. Exhibit empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients' experiences and challenges, aligning with our practice’s core values. Display strong organizational and time-management skills, enabling effective management of caseload and administrative responsibilities. Preferred Experience While a minimum of two years of experience as a mental health counselor is required, candidates with experience in community health settings or those who have worked with varied populations will be preferred. Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and electronic record management systems will also enhance the candidate's profile.
