Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include: Conducting individual, couples, and family therapy sessions through virtual platforms, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients. Evaluating client needs through comprehensive assessments and developing personalized treatment plans that target specific challenges. Employing various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and solution-focused strategies, enabling clients to achieve their therapeutic goals. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members, including psychologists, social workers, and other LMFTs, to enhance overall patient care and address complex cases effectively. Maintaining precise and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a broad range of clients, including those facing relationship stress, communication issues, marital discord, and familial conflicts. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess: A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field. Current, unrestricted licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington. Proven experience in mental health counseling, particularly with families and couples, demonstrating successful therapeutic outcomes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds. A commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development, staying informed about the latest research and therapeutic techniques in the field. Preferred Experience While the minimum requirement is a Master's degree, experience in the following areas is highly desirable: Trauma-informed care with a focus on family systems. Crisis intervention and management, particularly in high-stress situations. Utilizing digital therapeutic tools and electronic health records to enhance client engagement and streamline administrative tasks. Compensation and Benefits The compensation for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, reflective of your experience and expertise.
