Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify impairments, functional limitations, and areas requiring intervention, establishing measurable goals and personalized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders.
• Implement and monitor therapeutic interventions to facilitate patient recovery, employing a variety of techniques tailored to each individual's unique physical conditions and rehabilitation needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge summaries with attention to clarity and professional terminology to justify necessary therapy.
• Supervise and engage with Physical Therapy Assistants and support personnel, ensuring cohesive delivery of care and facilitating productive therapeutic interactions that align with established goals.
• Collaborate continuously with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational and speech therapists, and nursing staff, to optimize patient care strategies and enhance the overall treatment program.
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring that evolving needs are met in a timely manner.
• Provide insights and constructive feedback to departmental leadership to maintain high standards of productivity, quality care, and workplace morale.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, chronic illnesses, and mobility challenges stemming from age-related factors. Your role will be instrumental in providing personalized care designed to improve patients' functional mobility and quality of life. Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university is required.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
