Job ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll DoSet up and stock your workstation with all required ingredients and equipment before servicePrep, cook, and assemble menu items according to recipes and standardsPerform prep work to support service, including chopping, portioning, and staging ingredientsMaintain proper portion control and minimize waste to help manage food costsKeep service running smoothly by restocking ingredients and staying on top of prep timesMaintain a clean, organized workstation, including equipment, surfaces, storage areas, and trashFollow all food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene standardsEnsure ingredients and finished dishes meet quality and freshness standardsComplete opening and closing duties as assignedSupport functions, parties, and special events as neededWhat We're Looking ForPrevious line cook or kitchen experience preferredAbility to work quickly, accurately, and efficiently in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working in a loud, high-energy setting with bright lights and constant activityAvailability to work nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to read and follow recipes and cooking instructionsStrong attention to detail and pride in quality and consistencyA team-first mindset and willingness to jump in where neededDependable, reliable, and able to stay focused during busy shiftsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and move for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsAbility to work in a hot kitchen environmentFrequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and liftingAbility to safely use kitchen equipment and toolsPay range: $18 - $20/hr.QualificationsExperience• 1-3 years of experience cooking in a restaurant, hotel, or resort. • SERVSafe certification preferred.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
