Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients' mental health status through initial consultations and ongoing sessions.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices tailored to the needs of each client.

• Engage clients in regular therapy sessions, providing them with coping strategies and tools to address issues such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and trauma.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that therapy remains relevant and impactful.

• Facilitate referrals to additional healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or specialists when clients require medication management or advanced interventions.

• Document client interactions and treatment outcomes accurately in the EHR system, maintaining compliance with confidentiality and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Aurora Bliss, you will work with a diverse clientele facing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use challenges, and eating disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and therefore, a keen awareness of cultural competencies in therapy is essential to provide effective support and interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
\n
• A minimum of four years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders and effective, evidence-backed treatment modalities.

• Proficiency in managing diverse therapy formats, including both individual and group counseling methods.
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of establishing strong therapeutic relationships.

Compensation and Benefits\n
