Position Overview

Responsibilities Include

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, guiding them through each step of the process with empathy
• Collaborate seamlessly with radiologists and referring physicians to yield high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure the optimal operation and maintenance of imaging equipment, promptly reporting any issues
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and keep patient records updated in our electronic medical systems
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Education Requirements

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferably, completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Needed

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
