You will be part of a strong and collaborative site civil team delivering comprehensive engineering services to a wide range of public and private clients. Our commitment to excellence stems from our personal integrity and from other defining attributes, which we call “Dewberry at Work,” that have inspired our employees to be successful for more than a half-century.ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee site civil engineering design efforts, including grading, roadway design, stormwater management systems, and water, sewer, and reuse modeling and design.Provide technical support and guidance for the development of engineering plans, calculations, and reports to ensure accuracy and quality. Permit designs through the agencies including the Water Management Districts. Assist with quality control reviews and coordination across internal project teams.Assist with scope development and fee estimates for proposed engineering services.Actively participate in the training and development of junior engineers through technical support and knowledge sharing.Coordinate permitting and design reviews with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as assist with client coordination.Participate in meetings with city, county, and state agencies as a technical representative when needed.Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during construction.Perform necessary site inspections for final certification of projects. Required Skills & Required ExperienceBS in Civil Engineering requiredFlorida Professional Engineer (PE) license required12+ years of experience in land development design and constructionStrong working knowledge of stormwater, drainage, and utility modelingExperience in higher education and/or energy projects is a plusAbility to clearly communicate technical concepts to project teams and reviewersStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work and thrive in a team environment in the Orlando office.Advanced ability with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft OfficeAdvanced experience with WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, and ICPRDon’t meet every single requirement?
