Precision Brake Press Fabrication Specialist

Your Day

You’ll arrive to a clear traveler, confirm specs, and set up the brake press for the job at hand. You’ll select the correct tooling, dial in machine adjustments, and load, position, and secure materials for precise bends. Throughout the run, you’ll verify accuracy and quality using calipers and micrometers, troubleshoot minor issues, and keep the machine in top condition with basic repairs and preventative maintenance. You’ll wrap up by documenting results and taking on additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

Pay

Starting pay: $22.00/h – $25.00/h

What You’ll Do

Set up and operate brake press equipment to bend and form materials to specification
Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
Select proper tooling and make precise machine adjustments for each job
Load, position, and secure materials safely and efficiently
Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
Use precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers
Troubleshoot, perform basic repairs, and complete preventative maintenance
Support other duties as directed by the supervisor

What You Bring

1+ years of brake press operating experience
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
Proficiency with basic hand tools
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to obtain an OSHA 10 certification
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand, bend, or kneel for extended periods
Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures
Reliable, communicative, and responsive to direction
