Job Description As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Agent in Santa Clara, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:30 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:30 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:30 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate observations to the appropriate contacts. Support access control, crowd management, and/or closing procedures as needed while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred. Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
