Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 05:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 05:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and/or staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access guidelines, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas to help deter disruptions, assist with directional support, and address security‑related issues in accordance with post instructions. Support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, and following site policies related to alarms, trespassing, and after‑hours access. Minimum Requirements: 2 or more years of security‑related experience are required. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A state, county, or city issued security‑related license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
