Security Officer Part Time Patrol Access

Position: Security Officer Part Time Patrol Access Location: Palo Alto, CA Position Type: Part Time | Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Saturday: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM; Sunday: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, and report relevant details according to Allied Universal guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention. Monitor entrances, exits, and high‑traffic areas to help support orderly operations, assist with access‑related concerns, and document security‑related observations. Communicate with site contacts, store personnel, and/or local responders when needed to help address customer service concerns, policy violations, and other security‑related issues. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 2 years of security‑related experience. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Possess a guard card or license preferred. Possess access control and/or badge experience preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
