Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting thorough intake assessments to understand the client’s background and present issues.

• Implementing and monitoring treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

• Providing individual and group therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, ensuring an engaging and therapeutic environment.

• Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation of sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
\n
• Collaboration with other healthcare professionals, schools, and community resources to enhance client support.

• Participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay current with best practices in therapy.

• Adhering to ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. We focus on providing tailored therapy that meets the unique cultural and individual needs of each client, creating a safe space for healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess:

• A master’s level degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.

• An active and unrestricted professional license in the state of Texas (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent).
\n
• Two or more years of direct experience in providing clinical psychotherapy, preferably to adults.
\n
• Strong skills in intake assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
\n
• Excellent communication and writing skills necessary for accurate documentation.
\n
• A clean disciplinary record with no sanctions against your license in any jurisdiction.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with additional experience or training in the following areas will be given preference:

• Utilization of evidence-based modalities such as Trauma-Informed Care, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.

• Experience working within school systems or with educational stakeholders.

• A proven track record of building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
