Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally informed assessments to understand each client’s unique circumstances and history, laying the groundwork for effective treatment plans.

• Develop and implement personalized intervention strategies tailored to the needs of individuals, families, and couples, which may include cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and other evidence-based practices.

• Create comprehensive crisis management and relapse prevention plans, ensuring clients have the necessary tools and strategies to handle potential setbacks.

• Document client progress meticulously, maintaining accurate records to track improvements and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active Virginia license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC) is required.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and demonstrated ability to address complex client needs effectively.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, which includes providing outpatient therapy and working with a diverse array of clients. Experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care will be advantageous. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus, as it enables efficient documentation and tracking of client progress.
