About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Finance to play a pivotal role in the organization's mission to end hunger and strengthen communities. The successful candidate will be a strategic finance leader, responsible for translating the company's mission and strategy into clear financial plans with measurable outcomes. This role requires deep expertise in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, particularly in complex funding environments. The VP, Finance will also be a change leader, driving cross-functional initiatives to improve financial processes and systems, and ensuring that financial discipline is embedded in the organization's day-to-day operations. Candidates for the VP, Finance position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive finance experience, with a strong background in FP&A, financial modeling, and operational finance. Experience in nonprofit and grant funding, including knowledge of restricted fund accounting and federal grant compliance, is strongly preferred. The role demands a skilled communicator, a cross-functional partner, and an empathetic, mission-aligned people leader. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and sustaining high-performing finance teams, and experience in partnering with executive leadership to drive financial strategy and organizational performance. A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required, with an MBA or CPA being a plus.
