Management Analyst- On-site

Management Analyst – NapaSan – Napa, CA Full‑time, in‑person position (overseas options include a 9/80 schedule). Salary range: $64.04 – 77.84 per hour (Exempt) plus comprehensive benefits. Key Responsibilities Perform professional‑level research, analysis, and reporting on complex administrative, fiscal, operational, and organizational matters. Assist in the development, monitoring, and analysis of departmental and District‑wide budgets, including budget‑to‑actual comparisons and variance explanations. Research, interpret, and apply applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and District policies; aid in drafting administrative policy and procedure documents. Coordinate special projects across multiple departments, tracking timelines, deliverables, and budgets. Conduct surveys, benchmarking studies, and comparative analyses of programs, services, or practices. Assist with coordination and administration of District programs, including human resources, risk management, contracts and procurement, records management, and communications. Prepare and review agenda items, staff reports, resolutions, and related materials for the Board of Directors, committees, or District management. Monitor and summarize legislative updates affecting public sector employers and prepare written summaries and compliance alerts. Develop and maintain spreadsheets, databases, presentations, and other tools to support data analysis, tracking, and reporting needs. Qualifications (any combination) Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university, ideally in public administration, business administration, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years of progressively responsible professional experience performing administrative, analytical, budgetary, or program support work, preferably in a public agency setting. Work Conditions Employees work in an office environment with controlled temperature, moderate noise levels, and no direct exposure to hazardous substances. Occasional night and weekend participation in special events.
