Key Responsibilities\n

• Build and maintain trusting, therapeutic relationships with patients to create a safe and welcoming environment for open communication.

• Accurately diagnose and treat a spectrum of mental health disorders, devising individualized treatment plans that align with each patient's unique background and needs.

• Conduct regular counseling sessions with individuals, couples, and families to provide ongoing support, encouragement, and therapeutic interventions.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to monitor and assess patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and, when appropriate, refer clients to specialized services to enhance their care.

• Document comprehensive patient assessments and treatment progress within our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Legacy Behavioral Mental Health, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety and depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will be integral in facilitating meaningful change and promoting positive mental health outcomes within our community.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a valid LMFT license in the state of Washington is required.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is necessary for this role.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders and the therapeutic approaches best suited to address them.
\n
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster rapport and empathy with patients.

• Proficiency in using technology for telehealth services, including platforms for remote therapy sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in addiction counseling or working with co-occurring disorders is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
