Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to accurately evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms, including depression and anxiety.

• Collaborate with clients to co-create individualized treatment plans that are culturally sensitive and uniquely tailored to their specific therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), that are pivotal in assisting clients in managing their symptoms effectively.

• Furnish ongoing education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders and the corresponding treatment options that can foster recovery.

• Continuously monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies to ensure the best outcomes.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide integrated care that encompasses all aspects of the client’s well-being.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to ensure collaborative and effective treatment methods are employed.

• Maintain the highest standards of documentation practices, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines while safeguarding client confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. These diverse clients vary in age, background, and life experiences, requiring an expanded understanding of cultural competence and individualized care approaches.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Expertise in utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, including but not limited to CBT and DBT, specifically tailored for mood disorders.

• A strong grasp of psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare teams.
