Lab Application Scientist supporting the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Responsibilities
- Conduct product demonstrations to customers highlighting instrument features, functionality, and best practices
- Customize applications and methodologies through collaboration with customers and internal teams
- Troubleshoot analytical challenges, develop methods, and interpret scientific data
- Deliver technical presentations on solution capabilities and benefits to various audiences
- Act as trusted scientific expert providing support and guidance to customers and internal teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or related scientific field
- 2–3 years hands-on experience with chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments and software
- Chromatography method development experience
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize product usage
- Strong problem-solving and independent project management skills
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences
- Cross-functional collaboration and teamwork abilities
Compensation: $75,800–$113,600 base
