Field Application Specialist (Chrom/TFF) - Central Region & Canada

Sartorius seeks a Field Applications Specialist to support downstream processing technology implementation across the Central Region and Canada. The role involves providing technical expertise, conducting application trials, troubleshooting customer challenges, and driving adoption of chromatography and tangential flow filtration systems in a remote position with significant travel.

Responsibilities

• Support customer evaluations and technical consultations for chromatography, TFF, centrifugation, and related systems
• Execute application trials, proof-of-concept studies, and customer training with structured documentation of outcomes
• Troubleshoot technical inquiries and product performance issues; coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders
• Capture customer feedback, application trends, and competitive intelligence to inform portfolio improvements
• Provide monthly territory activity reports and support training of other specialists and sales staff

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred
• 3+ years experience in application support, technical support, or field applications in downstream bioprocessing
• 1+ years in-depth knowledge of biologics process development and monoclonal antibody scale-up
• Ability to troubleshoot technical challenges and perform hands-on demonstrations and trials in customer environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Salesforce or Tableau advantageous
• Willingness to travel 50%+ and lift up to 50 lbs

Compensation: $90,000-$116,530 base, plus sales incentive plan and car allowance
