Human Resources Coordinator

Salary and Benefits Salary based on experience: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour Comprehensive benefits package Career progression opportunities Company Overview SSP America operates multiple restaurants at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for managing the administrative functions at a specific location. This includes HR functions, administering employee onboarding, initiating employee badging, and supporting all administrative functions in that location. This position reports directly to the Human Resource Manager and also receives work from the Director of Operations. Responsibilities Managing administrative functions of the office. Assisting talent acquisition with weekly recruitment functions. Responsible for new hire onboarding and orientations. Guiding new hires in TSA background check applications for airport badging. Collaborating with the benefits coordinator for employee benefits registration. Collaborating with the payroll team and resolving issues in a timely manner. Assisting operations with employee training compliance. Any other duties as assigned. Skills and Experience Education or equivalent experience in business, human resources, administration (preferred). Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is an asset. Fluency in English (written and spoken) required. Dynamic, outgoing personality with a passion for helping others. On-site role at Bradley International Airport.
