HR Generalist

About The Role Location: Chapel Hill, NC (onsite; transitioning to Timberlake, NC in Q4 2026) Schedule: Full-time | Exempt What You’ll Do Serve as a primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries and support needs. Support employee relations activities, including investigations and corrective action processes. Coordinate recruiting efforts, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication. Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including I-9 compliance and background checks. Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, life events, and open enrollment. Support payroll processes and ensure HRIS data accuracy. Assist with compliance activities (FMLA, ADA, COBRA, EEO, OSHA, wage & hour). Maintain employee records and generate HR reports and metrics. Support performance management, training programs, and HR initiatives. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of progressive HR experience. Experience supporting employee relations, recruiting, benefits, and compliance. Proficiency with HRIS systems (Workday, ADP, or similar). Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience in a manufacturing or high-growth environment preferred.
