• Location: UPMC Great Lakes Pain Medicine
• Addresses:

  • UPMC Hamot Surgery Center - 200 State St. Erie, PA 16550
• Employment Status: Full Time
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Visa Sponsorship: Accepts J1 Waiver and H-1B candidates for 2028 and beyond
• Compensation Package:

Our organization is in search of an American Board-Certified or American Board-Eligible Pain Management Physician to join its expanding interventional pain program in Erie, Pennsylvania . You will benefit from a collaborative network of physicians, a robust referral system, and the backing of a prestigious academic health system associated with the University of Pittsburgh. The ideal candidate will have the chance to establish a comprehensive pain management practice while collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues to provide outstanding patient care.

• Role Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a variety of chronic pain conditions.
• Work Duties: Conduct outpatient visits and perform procedures at the surgery center, with occasional travel to nearby regional clinics.
• Procedures Offered: Work in a multidisciplinary setting providing a full range of pain treatments, including:
  • Caudal nerve blocks
  • Epidurals (cervical, thoracic, and lumbar)
  • Facet joint injections
  • Genicular nerve block and ablation
  • Intercostal nerve blocks
  • Medial branch blocks
  • Multimodal pain management
  • Occipital nerve blocks
  • Platelet-rich plasma (PRP)
  • Prolotherapy
  • Radiofrequency ablation
  • Regenerative injection therapy
  • Shoulder, knee, and hip injections
  • Sympathetic blocks
  • Trigeminal nerve blocks
  • Trigger point injections

Qualifications:

• MD/DO from an accredited medical institution
• Must be American Board Eligible or Certified and have completed an ACGME Accredited Pain Medicine Fellowship
• Ability to secure an unrestricted Pennsylvania Medical License and obtain necessary credentials
• DEA certification
