Work Environment\n

This position provides the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing our therapists to maintain a balanced lifestyle while performing essential therapeutic duties from the comfort of their home office. Contact with clients will occur via video or telephone sessions, with the option to work out of our outpatient office as needed. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a structured work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of client interactions using electronic health record systems to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to devise integrated treatment plans that promote optimal client outcomes.
\n
• Participate actively in training, workshops, and professional development programs to enhance your clinical skills and therapeutic techniques.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior therapists and interns, fostering a culture of learning and support within the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a diverse population, ranging from children to adults experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and more. We prioritize understanding the unique cultural backgrounds and personal experiences of each client to ensure culturally competent care.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field.
\n
• Current licensure as an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in New Jersey.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of direct counseling experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients and colleagues alike.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and digital communication platforms.
\n
• The ability to work independently while also being an effective collaborator within a remote team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences will be beneficial:

• Experience providing counseling in an outpatient setting and familiarity with clinical best practices.

• Expertise in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
