About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President of Sales to lead a dynamic team in the Chicago market. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a team-based culture, recruiting and retaining top sales talent, and creating a system of accountability to ensure the achievement of sales goals. This role demands a leader with a strong background in media sales, particularly in the audio and digital space, who can drive revenue growth across various platforms. The SVP will be expected to set and execute sales strategies, develop client relationships, and own the financial metrics of the sales department. Experience in play-by-play sales for both college and professional teams is a plus. Applicants for the Senior Vice President of Sales position at the company should be seasoned sales leaders with a proven track record of success. The role requires a candidate who is goal-driven, creative, and adept at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in media sales, with a focus on audio and digital, is essential. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven leader with strong strategic account management skills, and a background in sales training, pricing, and budgeting. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and negotiation skills are a must, as is proficiency in Google Suite tools. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and the candidate should be a high-intensity individual capable of managing multiple projects and delivering quality results.
