Description

• Conduct assessments for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations employing standardized tools and observational methods.
• Create tailored treatment strategies to meet both short-term objectives and long-term communication, cognition, or swallowing goals.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions focused on communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing rehabilitation.
• Collaborate effectively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, family members, and caregivers to devise integrated care plans.
• Provide education and resources to patients and families to promote progress beyond therapeutic sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care during the treatment pathway.
• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation compliant with all regulatory guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
