Italian Audio Recording Specialist for AI Training [Remote]

Record high-quality Italian audio for a large-scale data creation project that trains next-generation AI systems. This contractor role focuses on producing clear, natural-sounding speech that follows project scripts and technical specifications, and on collaborating with project managers to deliver consistent, usable audio data. No prior AI experience is required, your domain and audio expertise are the priority.

• Produce and deliver high-fidelity audio recordings in native Italian, meeting detailed project specifications for clarity, pacing, and intonation.
• Use professional-grade audio hardware and software to minimize noise and optimize sound quality.
• Follow provided scripts or prompts accurately while maintaining natural speech and expressive delivery where required.
• Submit sample recordings as part of the project’s initial evaluation, recorded with your best available setup.
• Communicate with project managers and technical contacts in writing and verbally to confirm requirements, resolve issues, and ensure consistency across deliverables.
• Provide constructive feedback on recording guidelines and suggest improvements based on hands-on experience.
• Ensure timely completion of recording tasks and transfer audio files securely according to project protocols.

• Native-level proficiency in Italian, with excellent diction and pronunciation.
• Minimum of three years of professional audio recording or voice work experience.
• Proven experience using industry-standard audio hardware and software, and the ability to produce polished samples with your own equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail in documentation and correspondence.
• Experience with scripted audio projects such as voiceover, narration, or dubbing is preferred.
• Previous collaboration on media, technology, or linguistic data projects is a plus.

• Engagement type: Contractor.
• Location: Remote.
• Deliverables and workflow are project-driven, with coordination required with project managers and technical contacts.
• You must use and maintain your own professional audio recording equipment for assignments and for the interview/sample evaluation.

Pay range: $20.00 to $40.00 per hour.

• Must be a native Italian speaker.
• Must own and be able to operate professional-quality recording equipment capable of producing low-noise, high-fidelity audio.
• Minimum three years of relevant professional experience, as stated above.
