Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate mood disorder symptoms, understanding their intensity, frequency, and duration in clients.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that are aligned with their individual needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring a client-centered approach.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to enhance client well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies, empowering them in their recovery process.

• Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with individuals experiencing mood disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our client population also includes vulnerable groups such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your expertise and empathy will play a crucial role in guiding them through their challenges and ensuring they receive the support they need.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Illinois.
