This full-time position allows for remote work while primarily serving our outpatient office in North Greece, New York. In this vital role, you will leverage your expertise to provide therapeutic support to children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges.

Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while also being part of an outpatient office setting located in North Greece, New York. You will be part of a collaborative and supportive team atmosphere where experienced child psychiatrists and mental health professionals work together to provide comprehensive care. Our regular work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the occasional requirement for evening shifts based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that consider the developmental stages of each patient and the dynamics of their family situations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to address a diverse range of mental health issues in young patients.
\n
• Facilitate family therapy sessions that empower caregivers and support them in creating a nurturing home environment.
\n
• Work closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a unified and holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of young clients.
\n
• Educate both patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment alternatives, and available community resources.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records that comply with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record systems and software.

• Engage in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in child and adolescent mental health.

This role primarily focuses on assisting young individuals, particularly children and adolescents, who are facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York.
\n
• At least two years of practical experience post-licensure in a clinical setting.

• A strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and contemporary evidence-based treatment techniques.

• Demonstrated ability to provide individual and family therapy to a young demographic effectively.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with a compassionate approach to therapy.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications for documentation and reporting.
\n
• Experience and aptitude for working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, complemented by a competitive sign-on bonus.
