Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing both standardized and observational methodologies.
• Craft tailored treatment plans focused on achieving both short-term and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions that encompass communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing interventions.
• Engage with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop a streamlined care approach.
• Provide education to patients and their families to ensure supportive progress in between visits.
• Participate in periodic inpatient evaluations and interventions, maintaining continuity in patient care throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Keep precise and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Continuously engage in professional development by staying current with advances in the industry through education and collaboration.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Mandatory: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first 30 days of employment.
