As a valued part of this school-based team, you will provide essential physical therapy services to students in kindergarten through fourth grade, collaborating with educators and other professionals to help children achieve their full potential.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• Experience in educational or pediatric settings strongly preferred
• Ability to adapt practices to suit diverse student needs in a school environment
• Competence in documentation and progress monitoring
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working collaboratively

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to K-4 students, as outlined in IEPs and by district guidelines
• Develop individualized care plans and adapt activities for varied student abilities
• Maintain clear, timely records of intervention, student progress, and communications
• Work closely with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student participation in school routines
• Provide expertise to staff regarding strategies for student mobility, positioning, and equipment use
• Contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

This contract role begins as soon as possible and extends through January 2027, providing consistent part-time hours: 15 per week, across two days each week.
