In this role, you will be responsible for managing the planning, organizing, staffing, and operating activities of the commercial lines division. What you’ll do:Provide stewardship over departmental operations, including functional activities involving assigned client accounts, prospect proposals, and departmental filesConduct file audits to assure compliance with established workflow and proceduresAllocate and adjust workloads between Commercial Account Managers, Commercial Account Representatives and Account Technicians as necessaryAssist in the analysis of account risk for new and renewal accountsGive technical expertise to commercial lines staffDevelop, implement, and monitor the training of the commercial lines staffParticipate in the selection of new commercial lines employeesReview subordinates' performances and conduct formal performance appraisalsParticipate in the creation of the annual commercial lines department strategic action plan and implement the tactical plan to meet established goalsStay informed regarding insurance technical knowledge, market trends, agency automation, company information, and other operating techniquesAlways take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomesWhat you’ll need:Texas P&C General Lines Agent license or ability to obtain within 90 daysProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent communication and organizational skillsAt least five years experience in commercial lines underwriting, marketing or account management or similar agency experienceAdditional Preferred Skills:Bachelor's DegreeInsurance professional designation such as CISR, ACSR, CIC, CRM, CPCUPrior experience in staff managementOur Benefits:At Frost, we care about your health, your family, and your future and strive to have our benefits reflect that.
