CBIZ Talent Solutions is working with our Northern Nassau County family CPA firm client seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join their growing team onsite. The ideal candidate will have experience in audit and tax. This role requires excellent technical skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform audits, compilations, and reviews for a diverse client portfolio.
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Apply expert technical skills and problem-solving abilities to daily responsibilities.
- Provide support and insight of accounting issues as needed.
- Adapt to changing priorities and deadlines with a flexible and positive approach.
Qualifications:
- 2-8 years of prior experience within audit and tax required.
- Good working knowledge of accounting and auditing standards and pronouncements.
- Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant accounting software (ProSystem, Audit Engagement Software).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Real estate industry experience is highly desirable but not required.
Compensation range is between $100-$130K annually plus excellent benefits.
