Description

• Provide individualized speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.
• Engage in collaboration with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to develop a cohesive strategy for patient care.
• Facilitate education for patients and their families to reinforce progress beyond clinical walls.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Maintain timely and precise documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational requirements.
• Commit to professional growth by staying informed about advancements in the field through ongoing education and teamwork.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), pending ASHA certification.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
