Director Of Sales - AmericasThe primary responsibility is to profitably grow the company's revenue and manage our sales organizations in the Americas. The position reports to the Vice President of Worldwide Sales. The Director of Sales will be responsible for establishing annual business planning with a quarterly review process for each distributor/representative. This planning includes budgets, account review, opportunity review, and agreed strategies and actions to accomplish the sales objectives.Responsibilities include:Driving revenue growth in the AmericasIdentifying target, high growth market opportunities for possible new product development and facilitating technical feedback from account base to design and marketing at headquartersProviding credible monthly production and sales development pipeline forecasts by sales organization and by customer and opportunitySelecting channel partners who are able to drive growth for PI and facilitating the training of electronics distributors for both sales and technical mattersRegular travel is a core component of this positionConducting quarterly distributor reviewsProviding and coordinating Sales & FAE trainingProviding monthly reports on regional distributor/sales representativesHiring, managing and developing commercial and engineering staffRequirements:BSEE or similarMinimum of ten (10) years of sales management experience in the power semiconductor industry
