About the Position

A well-established healthcare system in Northwest Ohio is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join its expanding general surgery/trauma team. They are looking for a Nurse Practitioner who is trained as a first assist or willing to be trained. This is an outstanding opportunity to work in a busy Level II Trauma Center alongside a collaborative group of providers delivering high-quality, comprehensive care in a fast-paced setting.

Position Overview:

• 4 10-Hour shifts weekly
• Full-time role with a mix of clinic, OR, and inpatient duties
• First responder to all trauma activations
• Provide general surgery consults and coordinate with on-call surgeons
• First assist in OR, manage inpatient rounding and admissions
• Rotate through outpatient services
• Weekend coverage required 1 in 4

Qualifications:

• Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification
• Open to both new graduates and experienced NPs
