This individual is accountable for the timely preparation of monthly journal entries and the reconciliation of the accounts and related schedules. The position reports to the Controller and will work on some tasks directly with the CFO.Duties and Tasks/Essential Functions:Oversee and manage the Accounts Payable including but not limited to Vendor SubLedger reconciliation; PO Accrual monthly reconciliation; assisting with resolving vendor issues and questionsMonthly Close GL journal entries (accruals, reversing, adjusting, recurring)Bank ReconciliationsCash and Debt ReportFixed Assets and DepreciationInterest Expense AccrualsInsurance Accruals and Other Prepaid Accounts ManagementIntercompany Accounts Journal Entries and ReconciliationMonthly/Quarterly Sales & Use Tax returnsQualificationsRequired SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with ability to apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Must be able to adapt and understand different software systems to enable efficient data gathering and analysis.Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data effectively.Good written, verbal communication and collaborative team building skills.Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skillsA self-starter who can work independently under minimal supervisionAbility to handle tasks and responsibilities to consistently meet objectives and deadlinesRequired Experience2-3 years Microsoft Dynamics GP experience is preferredProject Cost accounting experience is a plusStrong Microsoft Excel skills to include Pivot Tables, IF and VLookup formulasMinimum of 3 years of related experienceAdditional InformationThis is an opportunity we are looking to hire asap, please apply soon! **This role is preferably contract to hire**SummaryType: Full-timeFunction: Accounting/AuditingExperience level: Mid-Senior LevelIndustry: Information Technology And Services
