Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented in response to the status of the State budget. PLP 2025 requires that each full-time employee receive 3% reduction in pay in exchange for five (5) hours of PLP 2025 leave credits through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes.

Under general direction of the Supervisor II, Compliance and Administrative Services Unit (CASU), in a customer service-oriented team environment, the Analyst III independently provides direct support to internal and external customers to ensure compliance with HR policies, processes, procedures, rules, laws, and regulations by actively participating in and/or performing the most difficult and sensitive compliance review activities and special projects. The incumbent researches and prepares responses to employee grievances on behalf of HR; functions in the role of CDCR's Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Employer Pull Notification (EPN) Program Coordinator; and assists and provides backup duties to HR's Legislative Coordinator.

The California Department of Corrections Rehabilitation (CDCR) Headquarters has implemented a new automated system to streamline the hiring process.
